What can I do to reduce the amount of sebum I produce. No face washes/scrubs work for me.I'm getting more than fed up squeezing blackheads 365 days a year!!!

You need to adjust your diet. Have a word with your GP, and see if you can get referred to a nutritionist at your local hospital, who will advise you on changes you need to make to redress this unbalance in your system.

I have read that this can be increased by washing/scrubbing your face too much - your skin is trying to compensate for all you've removed.  I'd try a less intensive regime, using a tiny amount of your facewash (not an exfoliating one) with lots of water, and sparing use of moisturiser.  Pat your face dry gently.

I found Dr Hauschka's range very effective and their website has lots of good advice: drhauschka.co.uk.
