I never throw my old toothbrushes away but keep them, in various rooms around the house, for a variety of jobs.

Do you keep yours and what do you use them for?

Scrubbing taps.
Cleaning and brushing guinea pigs.
Although they are not technicallly an old toothbrush, as I use the freebies in flight washbags.

Same here, Eccles. You can get right at the back.

I bet the Guinea pigs enjoy that, Pixie. :-)
They do:-)
Cleaning the bracelet strap of my watch.
They`re also good for cleaning around the outside of the sink and cooker where they adjoin the worktop.
We're "all electric" now but still have old "steam" toothbrushes that are so useful....
cleaning the bit by the mirrors on the car that the car wash doesnt get
I use my old ones to get into the grooves of my windows when I've opened them. Also use an old pastry brush for the same job lol.
I don't. But somebody recommended them for brushing eyebrows, or putting brown or black eye shadow/ brow creams on.
Mr A uses them to clean his electric shaver.
Used one today to clean the air vents on my lappie whilst changing the cooling fan.

Versatile, aren't they?

Thelewisgang! That's a brilliant idea. The inside of the window frames get really mucky!
Tilly...an old pastry brush works better than a toothbrush. There's always those awful sections it is hard to get into.
Question Author
Don't pastry brushes just flick the dust and dirt everywhere?
-- answer removed --
I keep one in the bathroom and one in the kitchen for similar uses as mentioned. Bit off topic but I use my electric toothbrush to clean jewellery and I use it flat on its side either to reduce eye bags in the morning or all round my brows to help with tension headaches.

Divebuddy, you are funny. :-)
I don't find that Tilly. The longer bristles on a pastry brush enable me to get into the corners where a toothbrush wouldn't necessarily reach. Give it a go!
