Wednesday. The middle of the week already! Tempus fugit. 5°C this morning. Getting warmer!

Out to lunch today. A place I haven't been to for about 15 years. I'm looking forward to it. It's a semi business lunch with a canal colleague. Well, a chance to enjoy lunch while we natter really. ;-)

I put the car through the car wash yesterday, (too cold to get the pressure washer out) I'm sure I felt it ride up on the springs as the muck came off! i'd forgotten what colour it is!

Yes, it's very mild here this morning. We've never had any snow this winter - again!. I bought a fancy pants snow shovel 4-5 years ago when we last had snow. I've yet to use it. It still hangs in the cupboard in pristine condition with it's price sticker still on.

No, not too busy. I'm meeting 3 friends and a dog at 9 and we're going for a 5 mile walk then we'll have coffee. After that, I'm off to the library and get a bit of shopping on the way back. Nothing too exciting or strenuous.

I'm sure the walk and the natter over a coffee afterwards will be enjoyable jan.
It's always good to be with good friends isn't it. The colleague I'm having lunch with is a good friend.

It is indeed. The Rose and Crown at Nympsfield. A wee hamlet in the middle of nowhere.

Just googled the R & C. Seems like it's under new management and now has some very excellent reviews.

Seems they do lots of steak, beef and ale pies and lamb shanks. Mmm, a vegetarian paradise .

We won't have time o go the R & C boaty, we'll be too busy at The Three Horseshoes having the shu pie !
