Does anyone have any tips on lifting your spirits when you're feeling tired of things? Is there anything that works for you, that you could pass on. Thanks

I know it's VERY boring, but a walk along the seafront is always good for me.
A brisk walk (preferable somewhere with grass / trees / wildlife) for about 40 mins works a treat at keeping the blues at bay for me. One of the reasons I bought my dog!
This is going to sound really Pollyanna but when I was feeling really *** after I lost my husband, what helped was doing good deeds, nothing huge, just dropping stuff off at charity shops, freecycling to people who needed things and so on.
Meditation. Doesn't have to be all 'omm! ommm!' like Buddhists . Sit quietly without any distraction, on your own. close your eyes and imagine a special place -entirely up to you- can be anywhere anytime. Make your way to that place, looking around admiring the view. Settle in your place and conjure up the nice things that have ever happened to you, people loved and maybe now passed, speak to them hug them, tell them how you feel, imagine they are there with you or the things you are remembering from the past are real. Stay a while then leave your place, saying you will visit again.
May sound a little wierd but hope it works for you
A bottle of cooking sherry and a straw ! No sharing.
What's wrong Marijn ? Tell your old Auntie Jan...xx

All your suggestions are lovely. I will make an effort to try them all. Thank you.
marjin don't mix the Gin with the Sherry whatever you do ;-)
I would agree with what has been said about walking. It does work for me.
Ideally along a beach but that's sixty miles away!

Thank you. I'm going to go for a walk right now. The beach is a 15 minute walk away. It's pouring with rain, but I've got a rainproof jacket. :-)
Marijn, enjoy your walk. I love walking along the seafront in any weather.xx
I agree - stormy weather can add to the fascination of a beach walk.

Jordy^^^^....LOL
Jordy...can't you get a version of that song, sung by Geoff Chandler?
Exercise
Baking
A pet
mediation or yoga.
Minecraft.
Yeah, I like Jeff Chandler too!

Marjin, I hope your spirits lift soon. x
All the above is fine. Find something you enjoy to take your mind off of things. Maybe listen to music. Exercise release endorphins. Chocolate in SMALL quantities are ok. Company can help too (if they aren't avoiding you in case you bring them down :-D)
