Okay, it's not strictly speaking "a pond" ...

It's a green ice bucket that I left out on the balcony ...

It filled with rain water. And now, it's got these teeny, weeny little things swimming around in it. They're like tiny, tiny tadpole shaped things.

Any ideas what they could be? And will they grow into big, scary things?

I can't empty out the ice bucket now, coz they would all die.

They are the larvae of something like midges, gnats or mosquitoes. How cute :-)
Ebola tadpoles.
Mozzies I'm afraid!

Gnats or mozzies, that's okay.

Ebola tadpoles doesn't sound good.
Mosquito Lava. Or possibly Spermatazoa.

Let them grow to full size, and then they could fly in formation with the two Lancasters and the Spitfire.
Not actually arrived now that I read it properly, just expected to.
