Went to see this, this afternoon. I was really disappointed, not the same humour as the tv series. Lots of stupid things going on. Not credible at all.
As many of you know I love the series. Has anyone else been to see it? What did you think?

I thought it was brilliant just a touch too much pathos...... Mr Wang and the Blind Ninjas.... nuff said
Very good & enjoyed.
Haven't been to the pictures since Star Wars in 1977. Took my lad and he fell asleep. I'll wait till it comes on TV.

Jeza until I went to see Mamma Mia I hadn't been since 1972 to see Love Story.
I haven't seen a 'sitcom' yet that has successfully transferred to the big screen, and some of our best loved have attempted this; Steptoe, Till Death & Porridge to name but a few. Though apparently, and rather strangely, On The Buses was the big box office hot of 1971!!

That's "box office hit" of course.
parts were very funny others not, even Morcambe & Wise did not transfer to the big screen very well did they ? I felt uncomfortable with the scenes about blind people having my hubby go blind I don't see anything funny in that at all, poor taste making fun of people of disabled folk.
