I have copd and heart problems---I find I can only sleep upright occtherapy have put in device to raise my bed but cannot sleep in it--sleeping in chair anyone know of a good chair for this....................................

zak. I don't , but im sure if you go online you may find something suitable and comfortable. maybe like a reclining chair, you could also try a v, pillow. good luck.
Hi Zak I am sorry to hear about your predicament,it must be dreadful,I am sure your occupational therapist would be able to suggest something,it is marvellous what new things are on the market these days.

Yeah I had to do this before I was diagnosed with an abdo tumour

you can get motorised whizzy reclining chairs
and as I got more S O B, I found it useful for sleeping in

I also taught myself to sleep in a hospital chair, with my head on the pillows on the bed.
google motorised recliners
I think you'd be better with a nursing profiling bed. If occupational health are refusing to lend you one, you can buy them, either second-hand or from about £350.
