Received the form today, jeepers, it's long!

Has anyone else had to fill one out?

It seems quite daunting but will answer each appropriate question as if it was my 'worst' day.

Might I suggest you research a bit first, maybe on here and googling. Answering a question a certain way can make all the difference. For example, saying you watch TV means you are capable of using a computer monitor and can do that kind of work. They are crafty.

My wife got the CAB advisor to fill out her claim , they know exactly how to word the answers so as to get to get the best possible chance of sucess. We did it twice on our own but both times we were refused benefit. When the CAB did it she got awarded the full rate benefit within 5 days and they backdated it.
Try get a CAB advisor to help , they are very busy so get down there Monday.
Yes you do have to answer every question as if it was your very worst days, the CA

The CAB told us that. they also said there is an 'art' to knowing the exact form of words to use.

A couple of weeks ago i read that ATOS were trying to worm their way out of their contract with the government and that until such time, all face to face medicals/interviews would be suspended. Yesterday (Sat) was my 59th birthday and i was sent a letter telling me to report for such a meeting on 28th of this month. (Loads of things wrong with me both physical and mental). Been there, done that, got the T-shirt. 10 months on appeal before tribunal found in my favour!!!!!!!! The very fact that i can type this post is proof that i can work. One eye, one finger, one keyboard. That, people, is the mantra of ATOS and this Government. And, yes i'm a little/lot drunk at the moment. But i will be sober in the morning and that will still be their mantra.

I read something similar about ATOS too, the way it was reported was that ATOS have had a change of heart (as if!!)
Also, something like 3 out of 5 cases were upheld on appeal.
Surely your own doctor knows your health better than a strange doctor?
(I don't think they employ doctors myself, just people who tick boxes)
