Morning wendi xxx I've got me to feed today. I'm going to have a jacket potato with cheese and creamed mushrooms and an applejack pork steak. :o}
Morning fraser. Tea time for you then! :o}
it is waterboatman, but at least I got tonight off.
Morning folks.
Sounds nice WBMXXX. Doing leg of lamb and chicken for 2 that don't eat lamb but I have cheated with the chicken bought a ready cooked one from Asda, What is applejack pork ?
It's organic pork, with a cider and apple coating. I cook it in cider and it is really nice! My butcher does the coating, cooking it in cider is my idea.
Good idea with the chicken wendi. Saves a lot of time and mucking about!
Sounds very nice .
It was one of Vera's favourites. My butcher is 5 minutes walk from here, he only does organic meat and it is all from within Gloucestershire, most of it from about 4-5 miles away. We've been buying his meat for twenty years. He has won dozens of awards for his pies, sausages and sausage rolls, all made in the shop.
