Following Kromovaracun's recent post headlined "The Wisdom Of Crowds" we are now told that Murray's recent win at Wimbledon, was responsible for Monday 8 July being the happiest day of the year.

True, or just another example of media hype?

ti was very happy monday for me but i think that was a combination of day off, good gym session, sunshine and an afternoon in a beer garden. Murry didn't have an awful lot to do with that, but well done to him.
Fluff....he won on Sunday :-)

I don't have unhappy days as a rule,
Why should a Scot winning a Tennis Match make any difference?
Frankly my dear I . . . . . . . . . .!
i know, but he didn;t make my monday any happier because of that

ummmm, the OP refers to Mon 8th
I don't ever watch or am interested in Tennis so it did nothing for me either!
Or probably a very neat promotional campaign for /high protein drinks brand Upbeat/

who commissioned the 'research' (sic)
Baldric...I didn't even notice that *must read slower*
I was very happy about Andy Murray winning, but I'd say the article is a load of rubbish :-)

/// Krys Jankowski, from Upbeat, said: "It was amazing to see so many people with a spring their step on a Monday morning. ///

I suppose that it couldn't have anything to do with the glorious weather that we have been experiencing lately?
i would say that had everything to do with the weather, i suspect there were a few people who had anything but a spring in their steps judging by the amount of celebrating going on....
I think an achievement like winning Wimbledon does make people feel happier.
well oop here we know how to celebrate and there are 18 large union flags proudly flying on the front of all the village shops and businesses and they are aparently staying out until after baby wales arrives. It gave everyone a real buzz and looks wonderful,
wales is having a baby?
they're going to call him Wayles or Waylesetta, depending, fluff
the only tennis I saw was because Top Gear was delayed by 4 people not wanting to watch it, who is the Murray bloke anyway, didn't he leave Scotland to train in warmer climes.

baza, he's like most ardent Scots with money, is passionate about it, lives elsewhere!
He lives elsewhere because of training conditions.
Wales isn't having a baby, Cambridge is.......
not for the money then.
