I have been diagnosed with a form of pulmonary fibrosis and have a blue badge for parking etc. Does this mean that I am registered disabled? Please can someone enlighten me. Many thanks. !! P :-)

In most areas there is no 'official' registration process for disabled people.

Thanks daffy !! P :-)
As has been said, there is no such thing as registered disabled.
IMO if you are in receipt of Disability Living Allowance you are classed as disabled by numerous organisations/bodies
hey pea, can i ask you if you had any treatment for PF and if it did you any good?
In my experience, a blue badge just means a blue badge. Receiving DLA means you are registered disabled, although this is not formally said anywhere, but is usually what is asked for.

To answer you question, bednoobs, I was diagnosed in Aug 2010 and attended the hospital chest clinic in Nov when I was put on high dose steroids (6 per day). They worked wonders !! Now I am being weaned off them slowly. - now down to 2 one day and 1 the next. The biggest problem is weight gain - yuk!!! Breathing still difficult.!! P:-)
