morning wbm and sir alec thank god my cold has gone hate being under the weather!
we are gonna have a lazy weekend are you up to anything this weekend??
I am not up to much, I'm afraid, boatie. It was Dad's 86th birthday on the 22nd, so he is quite confused that he now has new DVD's. It's all very hard to explain!
Berniecuddles. I knew Bernie Winters when I was very small and he was gorgeous. Your name suggests a lovely, cuddly uncle..........
Morning bernie. That good to see. A cold is rotten isn't it. I'm in the Heritage Centre Sunday. This afternoon I'm manning a stand at Sainsbury's in Dursley for RAFA. Apart from that there is always housework wants doing.
It does if you don't want to live in a tip. I keep it as clean and tidy as I can. There are other things I would rather be doing. But it's always good to see it looking nice isn't it!
I'm afraid that I let my sex down. I hate housework and find it hard going anyway. The kidney trouble leads to sore hips and legs. I do one room at a time, and that's when I'm in less pain, I'm afraid these days!
You don't let your sex down al all Alec. Vera didn't enjoy housework either, I always helped her, it is just something that has to be done, so it gets done. One room at a time is a good way to do it. That's what's I do too. :o}
He does indeed Alec. :o} I have two pairs of them nesting in my back hedge! They, along with all the other residents are waking up and demanding their breakfast! I'll go and feed them in a minute and refill my coffee mug while I'm at it. I've just heard the robin battering the kitchen window! Back in a tick! :o}
That's them happy! I love them Alec, cheeky little imps they are, but they are entertaining, I love to sit out in the back garden and listen to them. I often sit out there in the evening with a bottle of wine, some of them will come and land on the table to be fed. I love it! :o}
That sounds a bit odd. When I was a young soldier, I had a girlfriend who came from Barnsley. She was a lady soldier at Larkhill on Salisbury Plain. I was based there in the Royal Artillery.
..........I forgot to mention, bland accent! After being born in Sheffield, I was moved to Bedford when I was 4, so grew up with a Southern accent which I haven't lost, but still use flat 'A's' if you know what I mean? Probably not. At least I'm understandable!
I know what you mean Alec. Nothing wrong with that. :o}
Thinking about post codes etc. My post code is Gloucester and my phone number is Berkeley, but the nearest exchange is Dursley. I've often wondered why!
