Who's going to have a dabble?

My existing betting account has been moved to another company so they offered me a free £10 bet (after my own £10) so I've put £5 each on two horses. When the free bet shows up I'll stick some more on each ways.

I printed off a list of horses, gave them each a random number then asked my boss to select a couple of numbers and I went with those horses.

I've never won much on it but I always tend to get my money back.

(If you're against the GN or horse racing in general, please feel free to start your own separate post on that)

I'll just answer the "Who's going to have a dabble?"

Not me :-)

Good luck, I haven't a clue on what to back but will do a few. I can't bear to watch them going over the jumps.
yes I have my bets on the sweep stake sorted and I am feeling positive that i will win something!

Pick the ones with the nice names Psybbo :)

I like a sweepstake but there's not enough people in my company to do one really.
Is it worth opening a betting account just to get a free bet for the GN (on top of what little I usually wager)? If so, which is best? These days I very seldom bet on anything else so don't want to tied into having to bet on other events.
I use paddy power I find it easy to use
i was not going to bet on the GN, but, as they appear to be making the fences safer this year.... i may have a wee flutter .
I had an account with William Hill (it wasn't for me it was for my very poorly uncle) and they gave me £20 for joining.
Just picked out Lost Glory in the sweep at work. At 66-1 i'll just go with the £1.
My fancy is Big Fella Thanks - the name means something to me (what a way to try and pick a winner - sad)
I'm with Mrs Mav (previous post) and have backed teaforthree at 16/1.

I check the prices on all of the sites, but given a choice, I stick with Ladbrokes as they offer "Best Price Guarenteed". ie if its 10/1 on the day I get 16/1; if its 20/1 on the day I get 20/1.

I once backed a horse at 20/1. It won with an SP of 33/1. Happy days.
I'm going to have a punt on Seabass and BecauseIcouldn'tsee.
I always pick names I like, and if you really want to win just back the ones i don't.

Thats what I set mine up for Bibble and it's the only time I ever use it.

I've got a fiver on Seabass and another fiver on Treacle. Could be a nice little bonus if he wins.
fiver on seabass to win
£2 each way on Imperial commander
£2 each way on Chicago grey
£1 each way on Cappa Bleu
£1 each way on On is own

figure that if a couple come in I am laughing
£20 Imperial Commander
£5 each way on Rare Bob and Swing Bill
We always have a flutter on the national. I always used to be really good at picking horses but the few years i've been crap! My last winner was Silver Birch!

I'll have £2 e/w on Teaforthree from Mrs Mavericks tip :-) haven't decided on the rest. We usually pick 4 each.
