I am sad for your loss, it takes it's toll, but in time things will look up, not immediately and you will feel bad, but it's early days, so give yourself time for you and your lovely children. I wondered where you had got to, so chin up, and keep well.

Thank you em and ummmm, I feel stronger in myself - still have my moments when I want to wake up from this nightmare. Our children and grandchildren have been so wonderful also the suppport of my family, friends and neighbours - in that respect I have been so lucky - I do not know how people on their own cope when they lose their loved one.

people rarely know what to say, so if they say nothing don't be disheartened, or down, and you will see that those who care will rally around, and those that don't weren't friends in the first place.
i didnt know of your recent loss as I dont often keep up with things on here. My condolences are with you though. I cant imagine how you must be feeling but Im sure it will get easier. Life is for living, for all of us, so please dont be too sad ♥

my o/h has been gone a while now, but like others on here waterboatman and Welshyorkie who lost their wives, it's tough, but somehow it comes together, not at once and the bad stuff can strike when you least expect it years down the line. Good to have support and friends who care, take care of yourself.
Sorry about your sad news. My husband died 2 1/2 years ago and though it's getting easier it still hurts. At the beginning, you just can't believe what's happening to you. Keep busy and keep positive and you'll get through it.True; family and good friends are essential .
