I started using fake tan a couple of weeks ago & now I've noticed that the usually bright white tips of my finger nails are now yukky yellow :-(

Wear surgical gloves whilst applying tan then remove them to do your hands. Gloves are available at pharmacies. As for your nails now, you will probably need a french manicure until the stain wears off

Better go buy some gloves tomorrow then!  Any idea how long the stain will take to go?  Or is it a case of waiting for my nails to grow??  x
The dye should wear off within a couple of weeks, try using nail varnish remover in the meantime, might work. Also bicarbonate of soda mixed with a little water to make a paste spread over nails and left to soak might work. Or nail varnish. Good luck. Let me know how you get on
I read in a paper/ magazine that white uncut bread brings your up white, you are surposed to dig your nails into the bread, sort of breaking it up so the bread goes underneath, I have never tried it so I dont know if it works, also lemons juice is another you could try.  Good Luck.  ca woman.   :-)
Stop using fake tan?

Gevs1966... I don't wanna be pale all summer, so basicly it's fake tan & yellow nails, or sun beds & the risk of skin cancer... nuff said.
