It would be GOOD to do so.  Full of vitamin C which is good for your immune system.  Best natural cure for a cold/sore throat is hot water, lemon juice and honey mixed together.  If lemon's fine, orange must be!
Oranges are full of citric acid. Citric acid has no effect on coughs and colds. Tomatoes have more vitamin C than oranges.
Yes, they are one of the best things you can eat when you have flu.

This gives a few other tips.  Also, oranges really won't do any harm and even if they haven't got as much vit C as other foods, it's still good to eat them!

Thank you for all your responses. Well, the reason why I'm asking is because I've heard otherwise. The reason why eating oranges is bad when I'm down with flu is because it stimulates the formation of phlegm. So eating oranges PREVENTS flu but may AGGRAVATE the condition during flu. Help!
