what does SP02 stand for (when using a pulse oximeter) is it
spot oxygen saturation

or
Saturation of Peripheral Oxygen or neither?

In fact SPO2 is used for the two that you have mentioned above AND Pulse oximeter oxygen saturation AND one other which i have forgotten..;-)

So SPO2 is used for at least 3 measurements.
