Hello everybody. I had a leg operation recently and would like copies of the x-rays taken afterwards. Is this possible ? I would'nt object to paying. This was in a UK nhs hospital.

Thanks

Any NHS patient has the right to a copy of his or her medical records, on payment of a fee.  Whether you could choose to have just a copy of your X-rays might depend on hospital policy.  I would ring up your hospital and ask how much.  I'd try asking your consultants' secretary first but you might get passed around a bit.
