Bad Start To 2013

I was glad to see the back of the Christmas holidays as it can be the loneliest time of the year. Now a young relative has been diagnosed with cancer and has been sent home without treatment which certainly doesn't sound good. He is married with kids. I just feel like crying as I feel so helpless because there is nothing I can do except pray for him.

Seemed to keep dragging their heels. Then he was in such pain they took him into hospital last week. He came home today with an attachment for a painkiller, I imagine morphine. When his Mum asked about the treatment he just said 'no treatment'.
Oh Spotit I do feel for you. After losing our son-in-law our lovely niece has been diagnosed with cancer and things are not going well. Young with two girls. This is a bitch of an illness and leaves us all feeling so helpless.
Cry, Spotit....rage as I did but remember your prayers will help you both.
Come here for a rant when you need to.
Thinking of you.......much love. GX

Think I am gradually finding you what's great bunch you all are, Snowball. Think I was a little wary at first as you all seemed to know each other so well I thought it might be a little clique and they mightn't welcome outsiders. I think it is something which comes from being on my own now, I find it a lot harder to mix with people.
