My wife bought 30 excellent Christmas Cards at Poundland for £2 yesterday. Incredible value.

assume that is two packs?
The stamps will cost you a lot more than that. This year I'm making a stand against the pressure and the hype. I'm only sending cards to people I rarely see.
agree, i have cards from last year and will be using those up.
I was just going to say - don't forget expensive stamps!!

I am donating £75 to a local dogs home instead of wasting money on cards (apaprt from long disfriends/family).
i was sent a charity pack i usually subscribe to, but sent them back as at 14 quid for about 8/10 cards it's not possible to pay this now.
From what I hear a lot of people are getting fed up with sending cards. I've told people I'm not sending them this year and quite a lot have said 'good, I won't either'. I think they're all pleased to be able to stop.
I have about 60 odd Charity Cards left over from last year which I shall use up. Cutting some people out this year as postage is ridiculous.
Always buy Charity cards as even though they don't get very much (unless you buy direct from charity) as it's my tiny attempt to reduce the commercialism (in my eyes anyway).
I cut up received cards for gift tags.
I am still using cards I bought from the woolies closing down sale....
I haven't seen a single card in the post yet
I've had a few - but I'm not sending back. I'm putting my foot down with a firm hand this year! My money is going to the hospice. :o)
I don't send cards unless I'm giving money as a present. Not only are cards a waste of money they also make the room look untidy.
I buy individual cards for my four grandchildren but that is it, nobody else gets one.
on the matter of cards...I NEVER or rarely get birthday cards as it is on xmas day...usually a wee ps scribble in the corner of Xmas card...boo hoo !!
I only sent one last year and I received very few so I think most people are of the same mind. This year I'll send some, but only to people I don't see very often.
£2 at Poundland? Now thats what I call inflation.
