Hello, I use black eyeliner to highlight my lower eyelid but by lunch time its always smudged under my eye. This always happens! Can anyone recommend a good eyeliner? Could it be because I use a soft kohl eye liner? Many thanks.

17 do a great eye pencil, but my only other advice is to be armed with cotton buds for a mid-morning mirror check

Thanks, will have to have a look.. I am now wondering if it is because I put on loadsof moisturiser.. under my eyes...! Hmmm?
try benefit bad gal liner, pricey but so worth it!!
Hi kazzee69, think the moisturiser won't help with the soft pencil. I use a liquid eyeliner (it's like a felt-tip pen) so it's easy to apply and doesn't smudge like the pencils.
Try setting your eyes with some face powder before and after applying the liner.
Try sealing your eyeliner with Benefit She-laq.  It's expensive (but goes a long way) and takes a little practice but once mastered it's become my eyeliner saviour.
I used to have this problem, i switched to using eyeshaddow, it needs a very good, fine brush and a bit of practice (brush in eye on occasion!) but i find it works wonders, and doesn't smudge at all.
Used to use a brilliant felt tip type pen, think it was by Margaret Astor (does lovely face poder too!)
I use Boots No.7 mascara & have never had any trouble with smudging.

I too use Mascara as eyeliner... just swipe it backwards and forwards on your lower lashes - works wonders... Glad someone else does too

My friends used to laugh when they ask me how mine stays on all day and I say its Mascara!

Sorry kazzee - I can tell I haven't been very well lately - I was convinced this question was about Mascara the other day!

I use pressed face powder, I then brush brown eye shadow along/under my eyes - it always stays on without smudging.
