I had a DVT 8 weeks ago and am now on 7mgs of Warfarin for life. Yesterday, on the same leg, my shin started to feel sore (a bit like a scald) There's nothing to see but I just wondered if the two could be connected.

I don`t know what DVT 8 is, but I had a Aorta valve replaced 1973 and been on Warfarin since. I know what you mean but don`t worry, your leg won`t fall off or be infected because of an itch or soreness.

As you are on warfarin, it is extremely unlikely that the problem with the same leg is anything to do with another DVT or indeed the warfarin.

Just monitor the situation over the next few days.
