Do I have a sleep disorder?

I seem to wake up at around the same time every night, 3am but I don't find it impossible to get back to sleep. I also sometimes have dreams where I'm not breathing, but I know I'm sleeping and try to wake myself up but I can't. Eventually I'll wake up and realise that I hadn't been breathing in real life while I was dreaming about it. Is there anything I can do to sort this? Thanks :)

It sounds like it could POSSIBLE be sleep apnoea.

thanks
go and see your doctor explain that you wake up remembering dreams, as it appears that you are not sleeping deeply.
I don`t think you have a sleep disorder. Your sleep pattern is out of synch, that`s all.
Could be anxiety attack. See your GP and he might prescribe beta-blockers.
Your doctor may refer you to the local sleep clinic, they can sort out if you have sleep apnoea and how to live with it, a good nights sleep is priceless.
1) You haven`t got sleep apnoea
b) You don`t need beta blockers
Not breathing in real life requires more than herbal tea 237 !
Pardon?

I've been having headaches recently if that helps? I don't really get them and now I'm getting them frequently.. and my mood changes so quickly and am in a bad mood a lot of the time? I also have depression.

Oh and I forget things all the time, and find it really hard to concentrate.
I`m not expert but that sounds like stress or menopause.
I meant I`m *no* expert.
I have much the same Pelly, for the last six months since I had a virus, bad cough etc and couldn't breathe, almost afraid to go to bed. I wake up around 3am too. Had all the x-rays and blood tests are clear. Go back to see your doctor and tell him about it. The mood changes, lack of concentration, could be because you are losing out on your sleep, not relaxing enough. It is worrying, put your mind at rest and see the doc.

eeh, I'm 15...
Are you still at school? Maybe you are stressed about something.
Question Author
yea, I don't know. I've not exactly had it easy the past year
Stress and sleep don't go well together, if you are worried I'd recommend starting a healthy eating plan, no caffeine after 14:00, light exercise everyday (20 minute walk in the fresh air) and see if it improves.

Hope you get a goodnights rest

Iggy
