Could you be dehydrated?
Stop taking pills, sometimes they become useless if you use too many. Place a wet cloth on your forehead or a bag of peas and have a massive glass of water.

i got some forehead strips at the chemist as i have to walk the dogs in a bit so trying to get it to calm down before then
Thanks guys
It sounds like a migraine to be (and sqad, I quite understand your personal question, my migraines most definitely were hormonal). Go to the chemist and get some Migraleve, and take it easy for a couple of hours.

Got some fresh air which helped no end, then my spaniel decided to do something very bad and its back!
I've felt headachey a lot over the past week and the main thing that seemed to work was an antihistamine so am wondering if it was some kind of hayfever related.
too many tablets can in fact make headaches worse. a visit to docs is needed.
Agree with others, if it is making you feel sick, it is probably a migraine, you poor thing, they are horrible. if you start to suffer these on a regular basis, you need to consider what medicine to take. From what I have read, migraines are caused by swelling of blood vessels in the head.
Ibroprofen helps, but the best thing you can get is Imigran which really does get rid of it rather than just temporarily mask the symptons. It is normally bought on prescription, so you will need to go to your doctor, you can get it online but it is incredibly expensive at around £7 for 2 tablets. I normally get a box of 6 from the doctor and just pay the standard prescription charge.
Another thing to consider is to get your blood pressure checked. My migraines are hormonal and come once a month, but my mother used to suffer them and she discovered that it was due to high blood pressure. Now she is on tablets for the blood pressure, the migraines have gone away.
That's another thought, any possible triggers? I found switching to artificial sweetners and going on Dianette gave me really bad headaches.

If it is a migraine I find the pink Migraleve brilliant that you can get over the counter at pharmacies.
You can buy Imigran at the chemist without prescription - about £8 for two - but they do work. Your GP can prescribe other 'triptans', which have the same effect. Mine dissolve on the tongue and work within about 30 mins.
Not sure what the dog did firewatch but makes me think the fresh air cleared it then the dog stuff could it be stress ? x
Imigran is wonderful for migraines, I get an injection from my GP and I also have a sumatriptan nasal spray.
Firewatch, do you get headaches a lot? If so it might be worth writing down your mood, what you have eaten and the weather to see if anything triggers them. I hope you are feeling better x
