My GD started nursery after Easter and got chickenpox within a couple of weeks. She got over that but since then has lost a lot of her healthy appetite, tends to pick at food and has 3 - 4 awful nappies every day. We are waiting to hear the results of a sample test from the doc. She is still a happy wee thing and plays with her toys but I feel there is something not right. We are going back to the doc on Monday but meantime, anyone any ideas?

I work in a nursery (baby room) and find that the kids tend to go through phases like what you've mentioned. They do get back to normal eventually in my experience. I know myself that I had a bad bug a few months ago and am still not 100%. It sometimes just takes a while to get over these things.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. If there is a clear medical cause for it, I don't think it would be anything worse than a food intolerance. We have a few children who are lactose
Damn phone!! Sorry...

Lactose intolerant... Something that is very easily worked around :-)
If she's eating, drinking and is happy....I wouldn't worry.
