sometimes only water doesn't make thier face look clean an fresh, so what would you use on your child's face? is there any kind of reasonably priced kids face wash? i think soap would not benefit their skin in the long term, thanks in advance.

I'm sure there are wipes you can buy for kids faces, my mum used to use the spit and polish technique...yuk!
that brings back memories elvis, when we were coming home from our holiday each year,we would pull into a layby near home, and get the spit and paper hankie polish, and hair combed, before we went to see our nan who was always the first we saw when we got back;-)
lol, it was a full facewash back then as well, we must of stank afterwards
My mum always used Fairy soap on me and I only stopped using it when I got a bit spotty in my teens.

What makes you think it wouldn't benefit their skin in the long term? Drying it out or something? Genuinely curious btw :-)
Good old warm face flannel, or if out and about fragrance free wipes.
Lol this reminds me of my Gran, I would go for lunch to hers from school, and she would stand me in front of the mirror before she sent me back and give me an excruciating hair brushing, drag and thump, drag and thump!
Rozia, I only used water on my kids faces, they are in their 20's and all have lovely skin.
I hear a K'archer high pressure washer is very effective.

LoL.....yes spit on hanky was my mum's favourite....or on corner of a rough towel......Jeez..hurt like L ..:-)
Johnson's baby lotion applied with cotton wool. Finish off with a wet flannel.
When I was a child living, in smokey Stoke, I would not always wash my neck because it was freezing in the bathroom so I used to get dressed first. I was always being chastised by my mum and grandma for having a tide mark arond my chin. Used to have little rivulets of clean bits on my arms too! Stoke was a filthy hole in those days, before the clean air act.,
I have always used soap, and it hasn't harmed me.
In the 40s when i was a nipper it was cold in winter and like a lot of kids I'd jump in bed with my parents....problem then as my dad was a miner...no pit baths and only bathed at home on Saturday afternoon...by the end of the week I was a black as he was just hands and face white as snow....and funnily enough I was proud of it..Heh heh!
Aqueous cream, we use it as a soap and moisturiser on the elderly, very gentle on sensitive skin, cheap and easy to get in any chemist.

I would never of thought it!!
soapy water and a flannel
baby wipes
I'm surprised you have to ask rozia
I allways found that a bit of Vim on a Brillo pad did a good job.
Any of the extra gentle cleansers like the body shop baby range does the job :)
*coughs*

we used baby wipes first!
