The boss was at the quacks today and following some blood tests he's declared she is menopausal....so for the girls....how do I help her through it....for the boys...how the hell do I get through it...

The seven dwarfes visit already, itchy she can deal with herself as well as sweaty and bloaty, forgetful well she's been there for years anyway and she can sleep on a knifeedge, its this bitchy and psycho that worry me... :0)

Any advice much appreciated punters

showing some compassion and understanding - put up with it if she wants a rant, and hug her better when she wants a cry. But most of all, don't let her know that your discussing it with other people, so I'd sure make sure she doesn't see your question.....
The symptoms you've described lead me to deduce that she is indeed.............

@ Nini74...no panic she doesn't come in to the AB at all
my sister had test done and told showing 'early stages' she went to the docs because she knew she was being irrational and snappy with her family. Has been given patches and things have settled down for her - this is week 3 or 4.
Develop a thick skin, take a deep breath before you say anything, she'll have plenty of ups & downs. If you can get her to laugh about some of it that's a step forward. Try and keep in your head that her hormones are everywhere. When Mrs. K is off on one, I leave her in peace. Sometimes it works, just re-assure her you still love her and hide the sharp knives!
seriously.... she knows its happening... you know its happening

it doesn't last forever.... encouraging her to have a few more seeds and nuts might help to give her a few plant oestrogens apart from that good plain chocolate and a tin hat should do it...
