i put a post on here yesterday talking about my Jaw reconstruction.  Well i am thinking of getting an insurance policy which will help me when i have to take the time off work etc.

does anyone know what policy i should get which would cover me for time off work and perhaps a payout due to jaw work

I would imagine that no policy will cover you for a pre existing condition
kazza12345 is right.  You can't just have had something you are about to have major treatment for;  insurers are far from daft.  Most health insurers operate a qualifying period  as well as getting you to fill in a declaration form naming your G.P.at the outset.  So unless you haven't seen anyone with it all written down, and you are prepared to wait six months...
