A dear friend passed away last week and i am trying to find her maiden name.
i have her married name and her address that she lived at,what would be the best way to find out please?

Do you know the date she married and his name? If so then marriage records will tell you try the free BMD site, there you can also cross reference it with her records to make sure you have the right person.

If you could get sight of her death certificate, all the information will be there. It includes maiden name, date of birth etc.

If you know the names, ages, of her children the BMD register will give the mother's maiden name..............
