Keeping old diaries

I've come across a box of my old diaries in the loft. I wouldn't want anyone to read them even after my death but have a block about throwing them out. Do any of you have personal stuff like that you wouldn't want others to see, what would you do?

I keep old diaries, but not ones with personal "blogs" in them. You could get a safe deposit box if not too expensive, or a locked box and instructions on the top that it is to be destroyed in the event of your death.
