Rover is home!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We can't believe it - the Rover's Returned.....
I had a phone call at work from the vet to say Rover had been living in someone's garden for the last 3 days - goodness knows where he's been the other seven months!
He's lost weight and is skinny and a bit greyer, but otherwise - considering his kidney problem - seems in remarkably good nick.
We're waiting to see the reaction of the other catz!

So pleased for you . My daughter moved house just round the corner 3 months ago .The 2 cats were fine first week kept coming back then the tabby suddenly disappeared. He could not have got lost as he was still in his own territory but he turned up on Monday after 10 weeks. Now he has been kept in he has not lost weight but just a bit quieter than usual. I know how you feel and so pleased for you. Her other cat is staying beside him.
We'd love to know where he's been - he's only within a mile of where he went missing, but the lady who handed him in said he's been sleeping in her garden for the last few days, sneaking her cats' food (as we thought he might). The vet can't believe how well he is - he's lost nearly a kilo in weight, his fur's gone greyer - but (as they say) no marks, chips or cracks! I've to take him back to the vet on Wednesday - she says we need to look out for unexpected symptoms as we don't know how he's fed himself or whether he's dehydrated. He doesn't seem bewildered - but we are, I feel quite shell-shocked!
A stiff catnip of a drink tonight perhaps Boxy.....A "Hair of the Cat" perhaps.....
Or even a "Rover's Cocktail "(yes this really is a cocktail and can be drunk while watching the action on Corrie at the Rover's Return)
3 shots Shiraz red wine
1 shot Pusser's Navy rum
½ shot Chambord berry liqueur
Glass: Old-fashioned
Garnish: Orange slice in glass
Method: SHAKE all ingredients with ice and strain into ice-filled glass.
Comment: Carpet-scaring red with the body of red wine but the palate of a cocktail.
Or even a "Rover's Cocktail "(yes this really is a cocktail and can be drunk while watching the action on Corrie at the Rover's Return)
