Hello
I have to have a operation on my shoulder and I am going for a pre op on the 14th Sept - does anyone know how long roughly after this I will have to wait? They told me it will be done within 3 months but surely they wouldnt leave it another 2 months after they done all the pre op tests?
Thanks

Seems odd.......usually the date of the operation decides the date of your pre -op.

Ring the surgeons's secretary.
I think it is usually within 6 weeks.

Thank You
I had to have my pre op tests 1 week before, because my appointment was 8 days before they hade to do one of the blood tests again on the morning of op.
my pre op checks have always been one week before my ops.

Good luck Yelenots x
My pre-op check for a month before my surgery. It must differ surgeon to surgeon. Give them a wee ring, I'm sure they will be able to tell you more. :)

Good luck with it x
