Anyone got ideas? Went to bed a couple of hours ago and noe I'm wide awake had to get up because I'm tossing and turning :( I'm shattered

Ah I've just eaten some Cadburys chocolate!! Going to make a drink now which will probably wake the dogs up!!
Turkey, lettuce and warm milk are all supposed to aid sleep.
Not all in the same glass, I hope, Sir Alec!

I've just finished a chicken biryani, and I'm now drinking a nice mug of tea before going to bed.

I've just made a hot choc! I dont like milk, havent got any turkey got a lettuce.....dont fancy eating it though!!
I'll probably be awake hours now I'm on this! :)

well, you just mentioning chocolate, ive just had to go downstairs and have a couple of squares of cadburys choc from the fridge, havent i?! lol,
oh and while i was there i cut myself a chunk of cheddar cheese too..

I have got some good ways to get to sleep, but there are not repeatable on a family site!

However, I would recommend keeping your window open, laying off all caffiene, and buying an anti-insomnia wristband. They cost about £10, and work very well. The beauty is they do not use drugs, and are not addictive.

Take a shower,then do abit of reading in bed, you're eyes will no doubt feel worn out.....then you're off to snooze :)
Banana mashed in milk is supposed to work and lettuce contains a natural sedative.
When i can't sleep I take a subject and try to think of one for every letter of the alphabet, e.g. flowers: aster, blebell, cosmos.
Try birds, native American tribes, trees ....
