There's a guy at work and he flirts and his body language shows interest me.

Today I left the office early with another colleague.

Knowing that I was going out with her..he emailed me an hour later. We actually went back to her house first. I checked me emails and I noticed his email.

He asked a question about a link to a website. I know he has this in his favourites folder and to be honest it's fairly easy to find via google.

I just get a feeling that he emailed me to see if I would reply straight away. He looked kind of surprised that me and my colleague left early...

any thoughts?

No he knew we were leaving early because we start our day earlier...
emailing someone is not the same as phoning someone, I dont think there is anything in the "feeling he wanted to see if you would reply straight away"

you obviously fancy this guy and the problem here is that you can misinterpret anything he does to mean something more, tread carefully. If he does like you, he will let you know without you having to put his every move under a microscope
why dont you ask him out with you nxt time? Then you' can sound him out.
I don't see anything in this email that indicates a romantic interest in you.
I'm confused about what you mean when you say "he looked kind of surprised that me and my colleague left early..." and you then say "No he knew we were leaving early because we start our day earlier..."
I'm not sure what you mean and what you are reading into this.

We always start earlier than him..

I meant to say he was surprised that we were going out socially while he was stuck in the office...

I don't understand why he would email me when he knew I was out for the evening when I he could've just asked me...
I think you may be reading too much into his motives, there are a hatful of reasons why he emailed you rather than asked.
Well you must be keen to have checked your e-mails at your friend's and been half hoping there was one there? Also if you know what he has on his favourites you must know him quite well already?
"He asked a question about a link to a website. I know he has this in his favourites folder and to be honest it's fairly easy to find via google".

You sure it wasn't your yearly ''Answerbank Suitability Appraisal''? LOL

I'm dreading mine next week.

legs are great now!!!

We were discussing the link the other day and I'm sure he saved it in his favourites folder...

He has never emailed me before and I just thought it seemed odd to do it when he knew I was gone...

I checked my emails at her house because I was waiting for her to get ready and my internet is so slow at home...
He is actually working for management as a compliance officer. He sent you the email as a trap hoping you would reply.

Then he would be able trace the sender IP address to show you had bunked off for the day.
