hi, i was under the doctors for yesars with my acne until they eventually put me on roaccutaine... this worked and they took me off of it after 4 months (wishing i never tried it now as i now have fibromyalgia, a warning to anyone thinking of using any accutaine product). I now have bad acne again and wondered if there are any tried and tested products that have worked for you. there are so many out there im a tad baffled to say the least. from treatments to pills i have no idea what to use next.
help needed please

cotton wool into dipped salt water and dabbed over spots, dry and apply athletes foot powder (antiseptic). Works for some. Report back after a week to say how it worked for you please.
The major cause of acne is androgens getting into the skin. It is nothing to do with poor hygiene. The only way to block the androgens is to go on Dianette. Ask the Doc to prescibe it.
Hi tweeny, please could you tell me if you had any bad side effects from Roaccutane, i'm taking my son to the doctors for this soon xx thanks
make a thick paste of baking soda and dab on each spot - do this every day. Also if you can drink cabbage juice that is for the insides which clear your system out. Sometimes you dont get the right info from doctors as they haven't time for acne so ask the pharmacy they usually very good.
My son's first consultant put him off roaccutaine after she descrbed all the possible side effects, he just carried on with anti- biotics think he's currently on tetracyclene his acne has just about gone but he gets really red skin which is first consultant wasn't bothered about treating. He's now been re-refered to a different consultant who firstly diagnosed psoriasis the ointment he perscribed totally burnt his face and we ended up at A & E, he's now perscribed a milder cream and says it looks like it could be both psoriasis and serbic (?) eczema so we have to see how he goes. But as I said the anti biotics have cleared the acne up but he has been through just about every type of anti-biotic over the last 5 years and when he stopped taking them it came back.

There are plenty natural options such as aloe vera. But for quicker results you can try DermalMD acne treatment, I've tried before and the results are amazing
