Will probably sleep for the next 3 days - bless her!
Hey folks.. I've just been asleep for the last 5 hours or so. I hope that doesn't muck my sleeping up tonight. I did see sign for Portsmouth when I first got on the M20 and I was tempted to go and visit Bobs...

Welcome back NoM!!! How was your trip? OK or a bit of 'mare?
hi NM, we haven't seen much of him of late?
Lard... I can't believe how smoothly it went ! I overnighted in Orleans, right on the motorway, which was a bit of a dump, but just somewhere to put my head down. The outskirts of Paris was the most daunting part of the entire journey, but I scrapped the route instructions I had and just followed signs for Lille until I picked up signs for Calais. The pet control was nowhere near as bad as I anticipated, and I got to Calais more than 3 hours before departure, but they just offered me an earlier departure, so I ended up on the 1.40pm trains instead of the 4.20pm train.

Bobs called me this morning when I was in the shower. I called him back, but no answer. I think the donut has gone off without his phone again. lol
