Wanted ! Female Chow for good Home

An appeal has been launched by a Lady in one of the Local Papers to find a Female Chow under 7 Yeard old.
This Lady's Male Chow is pining away after the loss of his Female companion of 10 years who died of Cancer.
He is not eating or drinking as he misses his Female companion so much and his Lady owner will travel anywhere in UK to find a Female companion for him.
If anyone has a Female Chow for Sale or knows anyone who has one, I can pass details on as I have a Telephone contact No.

Not sure what would happen in that case LoftyLottie. The Lady in question is not interested in breeding only for companionship for her Male dog called Ace.

Try the breed clubs. They will have a list of breed specific rescues ( available from the kennel club if you can't find the chow chow breed club), or alternatively the ' pets 4 homes' website or 'e-pupz' if she's willing to buy.

I would take Ace to a Rescue Centre and let him choose. We actually did that with one of our dogs. She had just lost her little terrier companion and we brought home a large cross bred GS/Lab!! They loved each other from day one. A chow might not be the answer.

She has been using the internet searching for Chow rescues etc without success so far. Thanks Nox

Just had phone conversation with the Lady in question so thank you to everyone for their help.
She was very interested in the Link provided by NOX and is phoning all the relevant TEL NO'S available there.
