caused by learning that my wedding reception venue has been closed down 4 days before my wedding is due to take place. thankfully that is now sorted, but im left with a tense nervous headache (not surprising really) after spending the day sorting it out. i have asprin, paracetemol, co-codamol and alka seltzer. in what order should i take them?..... perhaps i should re-phrase that to please put them in order of effectiveness for said tense nervous headache, thankyou

Co-codamol should be the only thing you need.
How about a glass of wine and a good film on DVD
I get tension headaches (a lot of the time made worse by my incessant teeth grinding) and have found that two paracetamol and two ibuprofen taken together is the only thing that will get rid of it!

It is safe to take the two together by the way!
chazza...what strength Paracetamol and what strength Ibuprofen?
If you can go out for a good brisk walk in the fresh air. Exercise and fresh air is about the best thing I know for a tension headache.
500mg paracetamol and 400mg ibuprofen
chazza....so that's 500mgms paracetamol and 400mgms Ibuprofen in one dose.

Well I suppose that you have had tension headaches confirmed by a doctor/

In which case that dose seems OK provided that it is the only way to get rid of your headache, but try and ease up if at all possible.
cancel all - go here with your fiance

I don't take it every day and yes I have had it confirmed by a doctor and they recommended this treatment, which is why I could recommend it to someone else
