Last night i was reading the threads went for something to eat then i could not get back on the site. I was watching the people with names from Coronation street and enjoying the friendy banter.
This morning i am able to sign in to the site and all the posts have gone.
Has the wedding been cancelled ? was it all a joke and someone did not see the funny side ?

I cant say fred.Seemed witty enough though one female user , not banned this morning , was very abusive to others .
I think she should come to my shop.3 bottles of wine for a tenner and always a cheery smile .

Funnily enough ill take this opportunity to correct both you and trigga and incase boo is thinking of an impromptu arrival.

The only real problem i saw last night was when someone called hilda ogden went onto a geaneology thread abd started abusing dotty.

Tht wasnt me or knobby but was noway2 .


So id appreciate it if you got your facts right chappy , noway is not regarded by me as afriend an aquaintance or anything like that.

Its the illinformed rubbish that people like you are posting thta gives people this impression and you actually add to the abuse and trouble .

i have had trouble again this morning the site would not come on my computer and i got a message on my screen saying

site under maintenance

sorry not to thank you for your answers but it was not my fault

Reading your messages it all makes sense if Dot and her facebook group does not like it they report the message and it gets removed by the Ed

I will have to leave you as i have to go and do some shopping

Errr ... I don't think that quite how it works Fred.

I don't think it matters how many folk don't like it and report it ...... If the Ed agrees the post is unsuitable, it goes. If the Ed doesn't agree, the post stays. Ed's decision is final.

At least that's how I think it works. Perhaps someone who has more in-depth knowledge of thread removal will elaborate.

i can repeat what i posted as fregleggyott, and im sure chappy can confirm?

i said that most of the arguing on cb involved knobby and dotty.they both tried to draw others into it .and long before i joined cb dot has always been at the center of one or other arguement and is usually a main contributor.i joined the fakechatterbank and all they did there was moan about dotty.i didnt get involved as i decide who i do or do not like,i got on ok with dot until a disagreement and then a few posts from her saying i had probably beta my wife before i deserted her and my child ( i believe she was drunk at the time but may be wrong) after which i decided i would not take any more of it.

now im not interested in arguing with her.

i said last night that i think knobby and dot should be banned for 2 weeks and then let back if they agree to disagree and are on a 3 months trial.


thats all

if anyone thinks thats abusive or bullying or intimidating then i think theres an agenda behind their opinion.

Chappy im really struggling with you these days.Idiots like mongler and whiffy abuse people quite viciously dotty calls pasty a geriatric hypocritical old bint and you laugh along with them.You say its the best way.Maybe in your mind but your opinions seem to vary from second to second and your sense of humour goes from nil to totally bizarre and slightly weird.
