if my partner gets his, and comes down with a slight dose of flu, can i catch that off him?

He won't get a 'slight dose of flu' from the flu jab - it is impossible.

But if he does get a cold or the flu you can catch it.
Flu jabs are inactive nowadays so they don't give you flu they just fight it if you do get it.
Absolutely no way ! Flu jabs are totally *inactive* so there is no way you can catch it off him... Any reaction he has to the jab is simply his body reacting to the vaccine. Ask your GP or Practice Nurse for more info if you want more info, or there is loads of info here:-
