highlights-PLEASE HELP!

A few days ago I highlighted my dark brown hair with subtle blonde highlts at home I hate the way it came out how soon can I use dye to cover my whole head again????

They usually recommend waiting 2-3 weeks. Although if you only did subtle highlights 7-10 days should suffice.

my advice to you is to try to wait...I know alot of people this has happend to,and the highlights tend to fade,making them seem less dramtic over time. Be careful using an all over color,the lightened parts will stick to the color more then the non highlighted parts. Meaning,if you choose a bright color your highlights may end up looking something keen to ronald Mcdonald.and by all means,do not use an ash color over blonde highlights,it will turn your hair green.
