I am 27 and found a lump last week and was quite concerned. I went to see the doctor & she has referred me to the hospital to be seen by a breast specialist.

Most woments breasts are lumpy at certain times of the month, but some women get cists in them, where the lumpst don't drain. My mother has had this very very often and is nothing to worry about at all. My sister then found a lump, and it is the same thing.

The doctor is following presedures sending you to specialist! I imagine you are worried, but it is common! x
Hi Sonak
Sorry to hear about your problem.
As Andrea said, It is probably nothing, a cyst, blocked duct or a fibroid, especially at your age.
Best to get it checked out.
I had two which could not be felt and was referred to the hospital to have it checked. They were found at a Screening Clinic.
I had a biopsy done, then was admitted to hospital recently for an operation.
Thankfully the tumours were pre cancerous and the Surgeon told me I was very lucky they were detected so early.
So, better get it checked. I am recovering now after my operation but so glad they dealt with it.
I wish you good luck, but at your age, it is probably nothing to worry too much about.
Please keep in touch.

i have breast lumps so after having a mammogramme and a scan, it showed nothing.
a week before my period is due the lumps become more bigger and are very sore but i've learned to live with it.
you can take evening primrose to reduce the lumps and i can tell you it works but also deflates your boobs.

i hope all goes well for you
good luck
