Thanks. Katie. Lancahsire.

No I cant help with your question but a massive pat on the back, what a great achievement , As someone who has spent the last few years dieting as well, i know its about changing life styles and comfort zones.........best of luck .

Thanks for that. I gave a talk on BBC Radio yesterday Ladies at Lunch and actually found it spiritually uplifting just being able to talk about it. I am going to ask my gp to refer me to a counsellor and see if that will help at all. There are so many things surgeons dont tell us. The most frightening thing for me at the moment is that I am becoming more and more alcohol dependent, first because I am always hungry and it fills me up without being sick (as food does make me sick up to 30 times a day) and secondly it takes away the pain I am constantly in. The other frightening thing is the adverts on TV for the surgery, it ISNT SAFE and it ISNT EASY. Its painful, dangerous (my first op went wrong) and now what horrifies me even more is that you can have it done for as cheaply as 2k in Belgium. It is shocking. People should be made aware of all the risks involved. I am more miserable now than I have ever been and on a high dose of anti depressents every day due to food deprivation.

Good Luck with your diet though hun. xxx
