My daughter has recently been diagnosed as suffering from IBS and has been advised to go on a High Fibre diet. Can anyone suggest a good web site where we can find out more about this and which gives lists of foods she can eat and should avoid. Thanks.

Can't answer your question but tell her to drink Aloe Vera juice. You can get it in Holland and Barratt. It is amazing stuff and will help with her discomfort.x

Hi tigger - Your pic is really cute! xxx
The best one by far is www.theguttrust.org They have a free helpline staffed by specialist nurses to give advice and support and can put you in touch with a self help group if you have one in your area. Professor Peter Whorwell a Gastroenterologist at Wythenshaw Hospital, Manchester has had some marvellous results with Hypnotherapy so if you live near that may be worth a try.I tried a high fibre diet and it made me worse and have now cut out wheat and dairy products and also take probiotics and after many years as a sufferer I'm feeling so much better.
Thanks Sky, I'm just a cute little furry kitten :-) x

One of my friends has found that destressing has had a great effect - she's taken up yoga and meditation. Might be worth a look in conjunction with diet changes.
