I have been giving my 2 kids (age 12 & 13) Tesco Children's Chewable Multivitamins & Minerals since they were toddlers. As they are now coming into their teens, can anyone recommend something for older children? They do have a balanced diet, it's just that as they are out more these days & I don't always know what they have had for lunch/dinner. I'd feel happier knowing that their bodies were getting what they need.
Thanks very much x

Vitamins and minerals are already arficially added to many foodstuffs your children eat, including bread, milk, breaksfast cereals and spreads such as margarine.

As long as they eat a variety of food throughout the week and are generally healthy they really do not need vitamin pills of any kind. Nor does anyone else unless they cannot eat a proper diet.

Thanks Ethel. I was in 2 minds as to whether or not to bother with vitamins for them anymore. They certainly get their "5 a day". It just seems that from a very young age my health visitor was ramming vitamin supplements down my throat! I dont want them getting obsessive about popping vitamins everyday, so I think I'll scrap them. (the vitamins not the kids!!) LOL. Thanks I'm quite new to this site & I'm hooked! I love reading some of the answers. Very funny & entertaining!
