heating in the work place

hi i work in a shop and 3 or 4 weeks ago our heating broke a man was called in to look at it and he condemed it we are now with out any heat company is looking to get it fixed but can you tell me if with it being so cold we have to work in they conditions.

The HSE has stated that your employer must provide a reasonable temperature in your workplace. Reasonable is considered at least 16 degrees C which should ensure reasonable comfort without the need for special clothing.
