I am a reasonably fit woman in my late 20's. When I go running I sometimes get a terrible headache afterwards. I assumed this was dehydration, but drinking a lot doesn't seem to make much difference. Any ideas? I have slightly high blood pressure. Also, how long is it normal to stay red in the face for after doing exercise? My heart rate and breathing return to normal fast, but I stay red for ages. Thanks

There could be a number of reasons but a possible cause could be your sinuses especially if the problem is worse after a cold.
