hey.. i had an eptopic on May 11th, and all went well and I was sent home from the hospital.. however, 4 days after the surgery, i noticed a milky liquid dripping from my belly button where they had inserted the scope. later in the evening it really started to pour out with a continuous flow. i went to hospital again and they admitted me overnight with a cathater. in the am it had stopped so they released me. it is now over 3 months since this happened and I am extremly bloated and am concerned that it will happed again....has this ever happened to anyone else???

If you are still having problems I would get back to the hospital or doctors, if only to put your mind at rest. I've never experienced an ectopic pregnancy, but it doesn't sound right to me. Hope it gets better soon x

No personal experience of this, but any discharge can indicate infection. If your scope scar has now healed, then the outlet for any discharge has been removed. A visit to your GP is definately needed.

thanks so much for the feedback. I have been back to my GP and have had tests. they did a scan and picked up more fluid, but can't give me an answer to what it is or where it comes from. they have given me water tablets and have sent me home.... so i am still in the dark as to wheter this is normal or not.
i can't help except to say its eCtopic, not eP

not saying this for spelling reasons, just that if you are doing google searches for information, it may help get better results
Hey Angiesa,so sorry to hear about your ectopic...I had one in February. The worst thing that's ever happened to me.I never had what you had but I did feel bloated for about 3 months after.I had three small incisions which were all glued...no stitches.Did you have a rupture of any kind?A lot depends on your surgery etc.I found the ectopic pregnancy trust website a godsend..just Google it and they have a really good forum where you could ask the question.Hope you are feeling ok and make a full recovery...mental and physical.xx

hi barb and jako, thank-you for your replies.... it's so nice to be able to talk and have feedback like this.

i luckily didn't have a rupture, we caught it in time. but i feel that something is not right. i am still getting servere pain in my lower left abdomin everytime i get up too quickly or if i stretch too much... not good. i will have a look at the website you have suggested barb and see if they can help.
thanks for your kind words.
