I am fed up with staying in the uk without getting the kind of job i desire. Sure enough, I decided to head back to my country where I could have a far better job and live well. But, my wife has raised so much fuss against my decision that it's almost breaking us apart. I don't like to continue to stay here and be struggling when I can have a better job back home, but she feels that this is a much better society, but I don't believe. Any thoughts on this guys?

I'm an engineer. But regardless of that, I have been slated for job interviews in my country and there are prospects for professionals like me. Why my wife is so enarmoured on this country beggars belief.
Where are you from and is your wife English?

I am from Kenya and my wife is from Kenya as well. She is just here studying, but she wants to do the Highly skilled migrant programme and then stay on from there

When ever I'm faced with a possible life changing decision I try to think to myself "How will I feel in a few years time, if I do this?" At the end of the day, life is too short to do things you're basically unhappy with. If you think you've given it long enough in this country to make a decision on whether you want to stay or not, I would say follow your heart. Is home with your wife, or in your old country? That's what it boils down to don't you think? Hope it works out for the best for you.
