A month ago I bent down quickly in bathroom(don’t ask lol) and managed to head but the sink! Spectacular lump above left eye and massive black eye for about 6 days. Scroll forward a month, the black eye has gone, but the lump is still there and still painful. Should I be worried??

It’s solid.
Almost certainly what is known as an Organised Haematoma (Google it).

Blood trapped from your bang on the head and being infiltrated by fibrous tissue.
It may go or it remain tender to touch for the rest of your life.
No big deal.
I have a lump on my person that was formed when a "ladder" collapsed with me on it (I'd missed just one catch) and I fell heavily. It never has gone.
One might have thought that a body able to evolve such that it can clear up bruises ought to use the same of similar 'clear up' system to deal with haematomas.
Was it worth it Smowball?

Blimey.
Baldric's reincarnated and back with us. :-)
Last Summer I had a nasty fall and my left arm was black from fingers to elbow. Nearly 2" from elbow I had a huge lump, but the fingers all worked and I could rotate my wrist and elbow so I steered clear of the dreaded A&E. Everything now works perfectly and is a normal colour, but I do still have a much smaller, hard lump. It is no problem. Hope this helps.
I'm not a medic but if it is still painful I'd get it checked out.
